How this site makes money

Every directory has an answer to this. Most of them bury it. Here it is in full, including the part that is not running yet.

Advertising, labelled

Practitioners and local clinics can pay for a banner placement on pages relevant to them. Anything paid for is labelled as advertising where it appears. As of September 2026 no advertising is running on this site; one placement is being arranged, and this page will say so plainly once it is live.

What money cannot buy

How this list is ordered

Practitioners are ranked by how complete their profile is, out of 100. A verified listing adds 12 points, a Google-verified business adds 4, and review volume adds up to 8 more on a sliding scale that flattens quickly — a practitioner with 20 reviews and one with 500 score the same. Google's star rating is shown but is not part of the order. Nobody pays for a position in this list; paid placements are labelled and sit outside it.

Enquiries

When you contact a practitioner through this site, the message is forwarded to them with your email address as the reply-to, so their reply reaches you directly. Nothing is charged for that — no per-enquiry fee, no commission on a booking. Your details are not sold, rented or passed to anyone but the practitioner you wrote to. What is stored and for how long is on the privacy page.

No affiliate links

There are none anywhere on this site. Outbound links to practitioner websites and booking pages carry no tracking and earn nothing.

Who runs it

One person, part-time, with no investors and nobody to answer to about what gets published. That is the reason this page can be short and specific. See about, and how listings are compiled on methodology.
